WAMU 88.5’s Bandwidth: Is DC’s Music Scene Shutting Out Disabled Music Fans?

I had the idea for this article months ago while reading tweets about how female performers should receive more protection. How positively droll. Obviously, music venues’ money could be better spent. Music spaces of all sizes should do their best to include music fans of all kinds. For some, that may mean large-print bar menus. For others with the funds, that may mean ramps or updates to those already in place. 

And so, after hours of interviews, months of research and lots of editing, we have this. Supreme thanks go to Ally Schweitzer, who is certainly one of the best editors in the biz.
